Dear Friend,

As we reach the end of another year, we at CRY America would like to thank each one of you for your support in bringing the situation of marginalized children in India to the forefront and committing to making a difference through your contributions and participation in various events like the CRY America Walk among others. This year, we also changed our name to Child Rights and You America Inc., re-inforcing our commitment to the child rights approach. Together, with over 5000 donors and 500 volunteers, we have enhanced the lives of 72,000 children and their communities.

This is evident from the transformation that we see today in the CRY America supported project - Mahan Seva Sansthan (MSS). View the MSS photoessay to know how children in the Jhadol district of Udaipur in India have become agents of change in their communities and villages, have taken ownership of their resources and livelihoods and have participated in decisions affecting their lives.

We hope to multiply such success with each of the organizations we work with, with the belief that each child is born with equal rights. But, this is not possible without your continuous support, and knowing well the reality that time is short and lives of many children are precarious.

As we bring in the new year, let's pledge our commitment to do whatever is necessary to bring justice to our children, and hope the next year is better for them.
Wish you and your loved ones all the best for the new year!

In faith and goodwill,

Shefali Sunderlal

Take a leaf out of Jeffery Pimenta’s book. This 8 year old from California, requested his friends to make a donation to CRY America in lieu of gifts to him, and collected $400 for underprivileged children.
