Action Center Name: CRY America University of Indianapolis

Background
University of Indianapolis Action Center pledged support to CRY America in November 2003. It comprises 12 dedicated volunteers. Since its launch, this center has been involved in organizing several fund raising events, raising more than $1700 towards basic rights for children. Some of the events that this group organized was selling CRY America products, designing henna tattoos, selling bhel puri, lemonade at a stall during Indias Independence Day celebration, among others.

Through these activities the University of Indianapolis is steadily increasing its donor base and spreading awareness about the situation of the underprivileged Indian child.

• CRY America products stall at the Hindustani Vocal Concert organized by the Indian Association of Indianapolis - April 25, 2004


• Bhel puri, lemonade and CRY America product stall during Independence Day celebration organized by the Indian Association of Indianapolis - August 15, 2004
