Richmond Action Center

Background

Richmond Action Center pledged support to CRY America in November 2002. Over the years, CRY Richmond has spread awareness around issues impacting underprivileged children in India and has organized many fundraisers including the first ever Indian Film Festival in Richmond. This chapter organized the CRY America Walk event in October 2003 and "Spring Fling" - a Dinner & Dance Social event which has become a successful annual event. Support from corporations like Capital One in the form of grants and resources is a testament to the credibility of this action center.
