Action Center Name: CRY America Charlotte

Background:
Started in the summer of 2004, by a small but committed group of volunteers, this action center aims to raise resources and awareness in the community to bring about a change to the situation of underprivileged children. Charlotte Chapter has made a resounding start to its operations with a successful fundraising donation drive in July- August 2004. Besides this, scheduled plans include booths and drives for CRY greeting card and calendar. By being involved with various professional and social organizations in Charlotte area, the group plans to increase its volunteer base.
