WELCOME TO NEW JERSEY ACTION CENTER
CRY America works towards restoring to underprivileged children, especially Indian, their basic rights to survival, protection, development and participation. We believe that each of us as individuals can make a difference. All it takes is the belief that "Change is possible, because I'll make it possible". CRY America's strength lies in its supporters – our volunteers, donors, media and project partners who have come together to change the situation of underprivileged children.
CRY New Jersey was founded in July 2011, by Nikita Bhatia, 14 at the time, and her dream of a world where all children are given their basic rights. CRY New Jersey is the first high school student-led action center. We have influenced high school student chapters across the country - encouraged student participation and supported students, no matter what age, to support child rights. We believe there is no one better to support the rights of the child than children themselves.
