CRY America works towards restoring to underprivileged children, especially Indian, their basic rights to survival, protection, development and participation. We believe that each of us as individuals can make a difference. All it takes is the belief that "Change is possible, because I'll make it possible". CRY America's strength lies in its supporters – our volunteers, donors, media and project partners who have come together to change the situation of underprivileged children.

The CRY Chicago Action Center was started in January 2005. We are a group of diverse, passionate, motivated and fun-loving individuals who believe in this noble cause. Our volunteer base has been growing steadily and we have organized a variety of successful events since 2005! Volunteers at CRY Chicago attend a lot of community programs and events to spread awareness. We also raise funds through various campaigns, online and offline and the proceeds are sent to CRY America. We would be immensely grateful if you too would lend your support. We believe that together, we can create a movement that can steadily, magically gather momentum and irrevocably change children’s lives forever! Let’s stand up for what is right – Stand up for child rights!

Sunil Kulkarni

"I've seen first hand how children are in need of so much help and I thought that this would be a good way to bring help to them."
Ishan Taparia

"I never thought that I could coordinate an event from beginning to end but after a few months and walk for child rights event, here I am as a volunteer! It was a challenge but also rewarding. I met so many people and we all share a common ground in that we care."
