A. CRY America Seattle Action center had a successful show of DREAMS, Bollywood dance ballet for child rights on Feb 8, 2009
B. Detroit Action center held a fun-filled evening with DJ Ramsy –on Feb 7, 2009
C. Washington DC AC was the chosen beneficiary of the SABA DC get together on Jan 22, 2009.
D. Gauri Patankar, a CRY America Houston volunteer ran the Austin Half Marathon on Sunday, February 15, 2009 and pledged support for underprivileged children combating against poverty, illiteracy and child abuse and to promote their education rights.
E. Agomoni Mukherjee had a holiday season fund-raiser for CRY America in collaboration with the Bengali Cultural Society of South Jersey. This classy event was at 'Sensational Host' in Maple Shade NJ, with a sit down dinner and dancing. The event raised $2000 for CRY America.
F. Alabama Action center organized the “Viswa Kalasravanthi” (universal glow of art) on February 7th, 08, their very first event of the Alabama AC that got them off on a very good start.

b) Washington DC Metro Action center brings to you a very special yoga workshop on March 15th. In this workshop you will learn a set of Yogic techniques proven to calm the mind and strengthen the immune system in order to prevent or alleviate many types of physical ailments, while experiencing a variety of therapeutic Yoga routines.

c) Bucks County AC Scrabble tournament will be held in April 2009
d) Pittsburgh Action center will organize its Spring Garba Event on Friday, March 20th from 9:00pm-midnight at Rangos Ballroom,. The event offers the opportunity to recapture the fun of Navratri at CMU's Rangos Ballroom (located in the University Center - Carnegie Mellon University). In addition to the lively music and dancing, we will have Henna tattooing, a Fortune teller, aromatherapy, $1 food items from Bayleaf Indian Cuisine and many more!! Admission is FREE, so be sure to bring all your friends and join us for this night of fun while supporting a great cause!!
e) Alabama Action center has arranged a Workshop of Science and SAT training (WOSSAT) starting March 28 to July 18th on every Saturday Time: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Sci-Quest, 102-D Wynn Dr. Huntsville, AL 35805
WOSSAT (Open to every child from 1st to 7th grades) is a hands-on science workshop “For Kids By Kids” - with the advice and guidance from Dr. Sita Mulukutla, Ph.D., Founder, Irving Art of Science - Dallas, Texas. They will have 9 monthly sessions (2 ½ hr class) in a school year. Volunteer student teachers (local high school students) conduct the sessions with the adult supervision by Program Manager.
