CRY opens an office in 'Second Life'...
strengthening its global online community
With an aim to reach to a wider global audience in creating awareness on the rights of children and involving people from all walks of life and across ages to stand up and take action Child Rights and You (CRY) along with its partners CRY America and CRY UK has opened its office in 'Second Life'. CRY hopes to strengthen its global virtual community on child rights encouraging people to play their part in correcting the injustice to marginalised children.
Designed as lego blocks, The CRY office is a unique structure emphasizing the core essence of CRY's work which is children. On the occasion, Ingrid Srinath, CEO, CRY said, "The space offers avataars an opportunity via displays, videos, community development stories and photo essays an understanding of the situation of marginalized children, especially Indian and invites them to join the community, engage with volunteers from across the world to discuss issues and organize brainstorming sessions, exchange interesting thoughts and creative ideas and experiences and for CRY to ensure deeper involvement from its partners and supporters (donors, volunteers media and alike.)"
