Pittsburgh Walk 2009
If life is a race, some children start last. Underprivileged and marginalized, millions of children in India and America are deprived of their basic human rights – to food, water, shelter, healthcare and education. Child Rights and You America Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, seeks to ameliorate these problems through funding and advocacy for the world's children. The Pittsburgh Action Center of Child Rights and you America Inc.would like to invite you to participate in our Walk for Child Rights at 10:00 am on October 4th, 2009. Registration will kick off at 9:00am and the 5k non-competitive walk will begin at 10:00 am. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join.
Participants who organize a team of 10 or more will be able to submit a logo for our CRY t-shirts and will be given special recognition at the event! Please contact Ann Young (firstname.lastname@example.org) for details on submitting your logo.
All participants will be given snacks and an attractive free CRY shirt!
Walk Registration Fees:
Please note our "early-bird" online registration discounts - Adults - $12 (day of $15); Students - $5 (day of $7); Family $30 (day of $40), Couples: $20 (day of $25). Children under age 12 - free with every participating adult

Note to Families:
Families and strollers are welcome to participate in the Walk. We encourage children to be a part of this event.
About CRY Walk 2009: CRY Walk for Child Rights is in its sixth year and is being organized across 15 Cities this year – this is one of our efforts to bring together people from all walks of life who want to be part of a movement to ensure that underprivileged children attain their rights to a healthy childhood.
