I go to India every year and see children in poverty. Instead of being in school and working towards a career, these children are begging on the streets for money. The sad part is that poverty is a cycle in which they are stuck in. They need help to get out of this tragic cycle and thats what CRY does. I heard about CRY through my friend Nikki Bhatia who is also the leader of the New Jersey chapter. CRY takes the step no one else has and focuses on getting the children out of this cycle by providing them education and healthcare. As a result, they get the oppurtunities they deserve. CRY serves a great cause and thats why I decided to become a volunteer and to donate money. However, CRY cannot accomplish their mission without your help too. Therefore, I encourage people to donate. Only 27 dollars provides a child education and healthcare for one year. Please help these children in need get out of this dreadful cycle!

Our Annual CRY Walk for Child Rights event is being organized across 15 cities in 2013 - bringing hundreds of individuals together with the belief that 'Change is possible, because we will make it possible'. Let's all come together and work towards the day when all children will have their rights to live, learn, grow and play!
