Once upon a time ago you, I, and everyone reading this was an innocent, innocuous, and unsuspecting child.
Today, we are older, wiser, experienced with the realities life has to teach us and aware of how lucky and sheltered our childhoods were. It involved parents that cared for us, doctors that provided us health care, schools & teachers where we learned about the birds, bees and everything else under the sun and in the process made friendships with like minded and other naive children.
Unfortunately, there are many children in today's world that do not and will not have these experiences for their own childhoods.
Please join me on September 20th, 2009, @ 9am in Busse Woods Forest Preserve (Grove 5), Corner of Higgins & Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 for CRY America's 6th annual walk for child rights.
CRY America is a non-profit organization that works towards providing for and improving basic rights for under privileged children, such as health care, education, and shelter.
Stand up for child rights by donating or better yet do not just stand up but walk!
If you cannot attend the event then do the next best thing and donate. It will make a difference for those children that have no parents or doctors or teachers dedicated to their well being, growth, and development.
WALK IT OUT & JOIN TEAM SHAMMY BY CLICKING ON THE LINK ABOVE.
THERE IS NO TEAM PASSWORD, ITS BLANK.
THANK YOU!
