CRY Pittsburgh Walk For Child Rights 2011
If life is a race, some children start last. Underprivileged and marginalized, millions of India's children are deprived of their basic human rights to food, water, shelter, healthcare and education. Register for the event, donate, become a fundraiser, help with event sponsorships or become a team captain! A variety of skill levels are invited to participate in this year's Pittsburgh CRY 5k Walk for families starting at 10am. All participants will receive an attractive CRY T-shirt. Become a CRY Walk/Run Team Captain - participants who register in Teams of 10 will have their team logo displayed on the CRY Walk T-shirt and special mention during event!
5k Run(Competitive)/Walk start time 10am. Onsite registration and packet pickup from 9am Attractive T-shirt for all participants. Lot of photos on our website after the event. Variety of snacks and refreshing drinks will be provided.
Early Bird Walk Registration Fees: Adults - $12; Couple - $20 ; Students - $7; Families - $30, Kids 10 yrs and under - free with participating adult.
Become a Walk/Run Fundraiser: The resources raised through CRY Walk/Run 2011 will be utilized to partner child development projects in India and USA. Note to Families: Families and strollers are welcome to participate in the Walk/Run. We encourage children to be a part of this event.
About CRY Walk/Run 2011: CRY Walk/Run for Child Rights is in its sixth year and is being organized across 20 Cities this year. This is one of our efforts to bring together people from all walks of life who want to be part of a movement to ensure that underprivileged children attain their rights to a healthy childhood.
