CRY SoCAL's 2012 Walk
|
As 2012 draws to a close, here's your last opportunity this year to help impact the lives of many more children like Anita Marande and stand up for child rights. The tribal community in a small village in Godda district of Jharkhand, India were not even aware that the shell that stood outside their village was a school. SATHEE, a CRY America supported project empowered the village community and their children like Anita and her friends to make education a reality for their village. Today, Anita is in school and on her way to complete her 10th grade. She and her friends through a children's group discuss and find solutions to issues of education, health and child labor in their villages. The lives of Anita and 411,359 underprivileged children living across 2,254 rural, tribal and urban communities have been irreversibly transformed due to YOUR support. |
