I want to personally thank Mr.Arunachala Sharma for his most generous and kind donation. Thank you for your support, your contribution will be put into action to bring smiles on many little faces :)
Dear Friend,
Thank you for taking time to visit my page.
I will be running the 5k on the 23rd of September for CRY (Child rights and you) this year at Flagstaff hill, Schenley Park. Please do come out to support the cause, you may additionally consider donating to CRY. No amount is too small, every dollar can help work towards a change. With your support, our dream for every child to have access to a school, to education and opportunities to build a better life can become a reality.
CRY primarily works on advocating child rights specifically the right to Education, healthcare and nutrition for all children irrespective of their social, economic & cultural background or gender. Although, the right to Education act was passed in August 2009, its implementation has been slow. CRY works on the ground to educate children, parents, teachers and the community at large of their right to access to schools and education. In doing so it empowers members of the soceity to lobby with their local/district governments to facilitate the building of the necessary framework.
CRY supports the education of girls, with a vision of their development into empowered women of tomorrow. Additionally, they work at the grass-roots promoting women's protection, education and empowerment. To learn more about the projects they support, kindly visit: http://america.cry.org/site/our_projects/projects_we_support/
