“I have been volunteering for Child Rights for last one and a half years in India before coming to Chicago. Being an working professional I extract time on weekends and every weekend I used to visit slums in India, just to take the glimpse of the blatant violation of child rights and taking it to the higher authorities. I have always had a passion and enthusiasm to work with children. Being able to inspire, challenge and motivate children and knowing you are making a real difference in a child’s life is so rewarding. I love the variety and uniqueness each child can bring on a daily basis, and enjoy building relationships not only with them, but also their parents. I love working for Explore Learning as it provides an exciting learning environment for all abilities. It gives me the opportunity to work with children and enhance their understanding, and develop a real enjoyment for learning. I love the positive atmosphere at Explore and seeing the children’s faces ‘light up’ as they are rewarded with praise, certificates and lizard cards. I find working with children such a fulfilling and satisfying career, knowing you are making a real difference in a child’s life.
After my 1.5 years of stinct with child rights, deep inside I realised that somewhere chord is missing and that is every child needs minimum monetary support just take care of their education and self-esteem.
Everyone wants to make the world around them a better place to live in. But have you ever rendered a helping hand to someone in need?
Here comes the time to do a bit. Request you to donate for a better cause.
