Workshop of Science (Open to every child from 1st to 7th grades) is a hands-on science workshop “For Kids By Kids” - with the advice and guidance from Dr. Sita Mulukutla, Ph.D., Founder, Irving Art of Science Dallas, Texas. We conduct 9 monthly sessions (2 ½ hr class) in a school year. Volunteer student teachers (local high school students) get the training, advice, guidance, mentoring, and syllabus from Dr. Mulukutla to conduct the workshop sessions. The Volunteer student teachers (local high school students) join the teleconference calls with Dr. Mulukutla. These student teachers conduct the sessions with the adult supervision by Program Manager.
Purpose: The main purpose of these workshops is to explore scientific ideas and conduct hands-on experiments while creating the interest of science in children. The other purpose is to create awareness and raise funds to support Child Rights and You America, Inc. (CRY). These workshops are conducted by the Alabama Action Center of CRY.
Child Rights and You America, Inc. (CRY America) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization registered in USA. CRY is driven by its vision of a 'just' world in which all children have equal opportunities to develop to their full potential and realize their dreams.
